Hi! My name is Lea Wright, and I’m a hair design student
in Ontario.
To become a hairdresser in Ontario, you need 3500 hours
of training. This is broken into two parts, 1500 in school hours and 2000 as an
apprentice. I’m still doing my 1500 school hours, and I want to chronicle my
progress from a relative newbie to hair, to a fully certified and licensed hair
stylist.
I’m a 24 year old woman living in Ontario, Canada. My mom
died in early 2014, and my dad remarried almost right away. I couldn’t handle
it, so I got started in hair. I like to work with my hands, being extremely
crafty. Expect to see some of my handmade jewellery, some cross stitching, and
makeup.
I am a certified makeup artist, a Reiki healer, and I’m
becoming certified in a number of additional complimentary therapies, such as
meditation and crystal healing. I have a wide variety of interests, as you can
tell!
Cat lady, book addict, Walking Dead obsessed, and journaling
lover.
